I am also fully insured with Holistic Insurance Services. I also adhere to strict ethical standards and am committed to providing safe and effective treatments.
What is a home massage service?
A home massage service brings professional massage therapy directly to your doorstep. Instead of travelling to a spa or clinic, a qualified massage therapist comes to your home, bringing all the necessary equipment to provide a remedial massage in the comfort of your own surroundings. All you need to do is provide the space.
What types of massages do you offer?
I offer a variety of massage types to suit your needs. You can choose from Holistic, Deep Tissue, Sports or Pregnancy Massages. All massages are oil based, couch massages. As your Therapist, I’m trained to tailor each session to address your specific concerns and preferences.
How long is a massage session?
I offer 45, 60 and 90 minute sessions, as well as set up and tidy up (approx 10 mins)
How do I book a home massage?
Booking a home massage is easy! Simply click here or call/text on 07772 845213 to book your appointment. Let me know your preferred date, time, type of massage and location and I’ll come back to you asap and always within 24 hours.
What should I wear?
Wear something that allows you to feel comfortable and for me to be able to work into the area/s to be massaged. If you are receiving an upper body massage, it’s fine to leave your lower half clothing on. Similarly, if you are receiving a lower body massage, you can leave your upper body clothing on. Most people wear just their underwear for a full body massage. No nudity please.
How does the booking/massage process work?
- You can make an appointment by using my online form, emailing enquiries@bodymechanics.co.uk or calling/texting 07772 845213
- You specify your preferred day, time, type of massage and location
- I will contact you to discuss your requirements, book you in and send you an online consultation form
- You will pay for your massage appointment 24 hours in advance to confirm your booking via online bank transfer if you are a pay-as-you-go client. If you are a subscriber, payment will be taken as a scheduled card payment through Acuity/Stripe
- I will arrive at your home, set up and leave the room whilst you get ready. I will go and wash my hands.
- You are welcome to play music, talk or be silent – I follow your lead
- The massage will take place and can be tailored to your preferences and requirements
- Towels will be used to protect your privacy and modesty at all times. Only the areas being worked into will be uncovered.
- Once the massage is finished, I will leave the room to wash my hands and to allow you to get ready.
- I will then come back in and answer any questions you have and/or give you aftercare advice
- I will pack up the equipment and leave you to enjoy the rest of your day
How will you maintain my privacy?
I will respect your privacy and modesty at all times. I will leave the room before and after the massage giving you total privacy and will knock and/or ask if it’s ok to come in. During the massage, towels are used to keep you covered and warm, with only the areas being worked into being uncovered.
How will I feel afterwards?
You’ll feel better overall. Depending on the type of massage you choose, will determine how you feel afterwards. Holistic massage is lighter, so you will feel relaxed. Deep Tissue, Sports and Pregnancy massages can leave you feeling a little tender, as they are remedial treatments, designed to work into areas holding tension and/or tightness. The tenderness will pass within 24-48 hours as the body rebalances.
Who do you massage?
I can massage most people. Minors under the age of 18 will require an adult to be present in the room at all times for insurance purposes. For those with medical, physical/mobility and/or mental conditions, we will discuss your requirements together.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
I understand that plans can change. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any penalty. However, cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be subject to a cancellation fee.
how much does a massage cost
My prices are as follows:
- 30 mins £45 (strictly in the Welwyn Garden City area only)
- 45 mins £60
- 60 mins £75
- 90 mins £105
How do I pay?
Online bank transfers are preferred please. If you are a pay-as-you-go client, I ask you to pay 24 hours in advance to confirm your booking. If you are a subscriber, your payment will be taken as an automated card payment via Acuity/Stripe.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, I offer discounted rates to subscribers. This is your best option if you want to benefit from regular self-care, preferential prices and priority booking. Subscribers have massages based on their chosen frequency eg every month, every 6 weeks, every 8 weeks or every 3 months. Click here for more information.
Is tipping required?
Tipping is appreciated but not required.
I have sensitive skin and allergies - what products do you use?
I do too! I use grapeseed oil for massage, non-biological laundry detergent and cleaning products from Method as they’re kind to skin. If you would like to provide your own oils, I am happy to do so, however I may need to wear gloves.

I currently cover the following areas:
